Peer responses to a team's weakest link: A test and extension of LePine and Van Dyne's model.

This article reports research intended to assess and extend a recent theory of peer responses to low-performing team members (J. A. LePine & L. Van Dyne, 2001a). An instrument that assesses 4 types of peer responses to low performers (compensating for, training, motivating, and rejecting) was developed and then cross-validated in a subsequent study. Results of the study supported the validity of the peer responses measure and were generally consistent with the attributional theory of peer responses. Low-performer characteristics influenced the peer responses. These effects were mediated in part by peer attributions, affect, and cognitions, which explained variance in the peer responses over and above the variance explained by respondents' personality characteristics (i.e., The Big Five). Individuation, peers, and adolescent alcohol use: A latent growth analysis.

The study used latent growth modeling to investigate longitudinal relationships between individuation, peer alcohol use, and adolescent alcohol use among African American, Mexican American, and non-Hispanic White adolescents (N=6,048) from 7th, 8th, and 9th grades over a 3-year period. Initial levels of peer alcohol use were significantly related to changes in adolescents' alcohol use, whereas initial adolescent alcohol use also significantly related to changes in peers' alcohol use, suggesting a bidirectional relationship. Higher levels of intergenerational individuation were related to smaller increases in adolescent alcohol use and higher levels of separation were related to larger increases in youth drinking. Latchkey children and susceptibility to peer pressure: An ecological analysis.

Data on adolescents' after-school experiences and their susceptibility to peer pressure were derived from surveys administered to a heterogeneous sample of 865 adolescents in Grades 5–9. Consistent with the findings of previous studies, the results show that Ss who reported home after school were not significantly different from those who were supervised by their parents at home during after-school hours. However, when a 2nd sample of latchkey children (n?=?594) was studied to include greater variation in after-school experiences, Ss who were more removed from adult supervision were found to be more susceptible to peer pressure to engage in antisocial activity. Ss who were home alone were less susceptible to peer pressure than are those who were at a friend's house after school, and those who were at a friend's house, in turn, were less susceptible than were those who describe themselves as "hanging out." Moreover, latchkey Ss whose parents knew their whereabouts and those who had been raised authoritatively were less susceptible to peer influence than were their peers, even if their afternoons were spent in contexts in which adult supervision was lax and susceptibility to peer pressure was generally high. 在P2P网络中实现电子拍卖的功能对于P2P技术具有重要意义,这将意味着电子商务同样可以在P2P网络中广泛应用.然而,匿名性、投标价保密性、抗勾结性等安全问题一直是电子拍卖研究的难点问题,一种合理的解决方法是将盲签名、知识证明、可验证的数字签名加密算法引入到电子拍卖协议中.这样不仅可以很好地解决P2P网络无中心服务器的不足,还使得系统的安全性能得到显著提高.

激励是高校人力资源管理的核心因素。文章对现有的各种激励理论进行充分研究借鉴．通过较为科学的研究方法对各类型教师需求进行对比分析,并针对高校教师的需求特点提出相应的激励对策。     

基于分形理论P2P流量行为的自相似性

针对单个主机单个协议流量的自相似性和非宏观上流量的自相似性,分析了端到端（P2P）网络流量的自相似性. 对常见的端到端(P2P)应用进行分析后发现,其应用层数据存在自相似性,且在时间尺度与行为尺度的比较中,P2P应用层流量在行为尺度上的自相似性表现得更加明显和稳定. 为了将行为尺度上的自相似性应用到业务感知领域,提出了一种新的P2P流量识别算法,该算法通过计算网络流量不同行为尺度下的容量维,再辅以主动系数来识别P2P流量. 实验结果证明,新算法在P2P流量识别方面的准确率高于同类算法,在加密流量的识别上表现尤为突出.     

优化P2P业务传输的新型EPON接入网

提出了一种优化端到端（P2P）业务传输的以太无源光网络(EPON)接入网结构及其P2P业务重定向机制,采用马尔可夫链数学模型进行理论分析,并进行了Matlab仿真计算. 仿真结果表明,所提方案能有效降低P2P协议报文所经历的网络距离,并且降低核心网的数据流量负担.
