Rotating-bending uniaxial fatigue tests and micro-fatigue crack initiation tests were carried out using a permanent mold cast
(PMC) and semi-solid die cast (SDC) with Al−7%Si−0.35%Mg composition in order to examine the relationship between solidification
structures and fatigue behaviors. The crack length was measured using a replication method. Fatigue strength was improved
in SDC, which was almost consistent with the predicted fatigue strength using the size of Si particle cluster. Resistance
to fatigue crack initiation and fatigue strength were improved in SDC owing to the finer Si cluster and to higher ultimate
tensile strength. Fatigue crack in PMC was preferentially initiated at pores. For SDC, the fatigue crack was initiated at

在半固态加工技术中,电磁搅拌是最早应用于制备非枝晶浆料的方法之一,同时也是半固态触变压铸技术最早获得工业应用的重要技术基础之一。采用自行开发的电磁搅拌器,研究了多种不同电磁搅拌方式在不同工艺条件下,单独施加或复合施加对A357合金微观组织的影响。试验结果表明:单一施加旋转感应电磁搅拌时,浆料径向组织很不均匀;单一施加无芯感应电磁搅拌。当搅拌电流较小时,径向组织也不均匀,增大电流,浆料质量有明显改善;采用(旋转感应+无芯感应)复合电磁场进行复合电磁搅拌时,可在电流较小时获得满意的浆料质量。 相似文献

对不同温度及不同搅拌工艺下得到的材料的显微组织的比较,确定了合理的半固态温度和搅拌工艺,即半固态温度为590℃,震荡电流为500A。随后对单个线圈电磁搅拌过程进行建模及电磁场和流速场的耦合模拟得到了电磁场和流速场分布,此结果与电磁搅拌的原理及实验结果相一致。计算出在该温度和工艺下熔体内部的平均流动速度为3.2cm/s,将该结果作为能否得到半固态浆料的判据。 相似文献

To understand the flow trace of semi-solid slurry in mold cavity, some thermocouples were inserted in mold cavity, and the reaction timing of thermocouples showed the arrival of fluid. The filling time and rate were estimated by comparison between the experiment and calculation. The introduction of computer simulation technique based on ADSTEFAN was to predict injectionforming process and to prevent defects during trial manufacture of various parts. By comparing the formed appearance of parts in experiment and in simulation, and observing the relationship between internal defects inspected by X-ray or microscope and the flow field obtained in simulation, it was indicated that both have quite good agreement in simulation and experiment. Right predictions for cast defects resulted from mold filling can be carried out and proper direction was also proposed. The realization of numerical visualization for filling process during semi-solid die-cast process will play an important role in optimizing technology plan. 相似文献

The rheological behavior of semi-solid AZ91D at steady state is studied using a Couette type viscometer in the present paper. The results show that the apparent viscosity of semi-solid AZ91D at the steady state increases with the solid fraction increasing, and goes up sharply when the solid fraction reaches a certain value, which is called critical fraction. In addition, the apparent viscosity of semi-solid AZ91D at the steady state takes on a distinct downtrend with the shearing rate increasing, which indicates a strong shear thinning property. In addition, the critical solid fraction becomes higher under larger shearing rate, owing to the more globular shape of the solid particles. Based on the present experiment results, an empirical equation is built as that, relating the steady state apparent viscosity of semi-solid AZ91D with the solid fraction fs andshearing rate (?) at the same time: ηapp=10.74exp(6.95fs)(?)-0.86. 相似文献

采用电磁搅拌法制备了具有不同微观组织特征的半固态A356合金浆料,用图像分析软件对浇注前浆料金相试样的初生相微观组织特征进行了测定,利用间接挤压铸造方法铸造阿基米德螺旋线试样,以挤压成形后的螺旋线试样长度衡量充型能力,通过多元回归,建立了半固态A356合金初生相微观组织特征与充型长度之间的数学表达式。结果表明:半固态浆料充型能力不仅与初生相微观组织特征参数有关,微观组织特征参数的交互作用对充型能力的影响也较大。利用该表达式可以对半固态浆料充型能力进行预测,进而指导半固态浆料制备参数设计、间接挤压铸造工艺设计和缺陷预测。 相似文献
