In many legal proceedings, fact finders scrutinize the demeanor of a defendant or witness, particularly his or her nonverbal behavior, for indicators of deception. This meta-analysis investigated directly observable nonverbal correlates of deception as a function of different moderator variables. Although lay people and professionals alike assume that many nonverbal behaviors are displayed more frequently while lying, of 11 different behaviors observable in the head and body area, only 3 were reliably associated with deception. Nodding, foot and leg movements, and hand movements were negatively related to deception in the overall analyses weighted by sample size. Most people assume that nonverbal behaviors increase while lying; however, these behaviors decreased, whereas others showed no change. There was no evidence that people avoid eye contact while lying, although around the world, gaze aversion is deemed the most important signal of deception. Most effect sizes were found to be heterogeneous. Analyses of moderator variables revealed that many of the observed relationships varied as a function of content, motivation, preparation, sanctioning of the lie, experimental design, and operationalization. Existing theories cannot readily account for the heterogeneity in findings. Thus, practitioners are cautioned against using these indicators in assessing the truthfulness of oral reports. 基于加速器中子源的硼中子俘获治疗(BNCT)是一种较好的肿瘤治疗技术,通过慢化得到的超热中子可用于非浅表肿瘤BNCT治疗.本文以2.3 MeV、10 mA质子流强的7Li(p,n)7Be中子源为对象,建立了加速器BNCT束流装置模型,采用中子输运程序MCNP研究了慢化体材料对超热中子束流品质的影响.结果表明:采用重水作为慢化体材料可有效的提高束流出口处超热中子水平,对于2.3 MeV、10 mA质子流强的7Li(p,n)7Be中子源,超热中子束流水平为0.669×109n/(cm2.s),超热中子与快中子产额比达62.3,基本达到临床治疗所需109n/(cm2.s)的超热中子水平.  相似文献

选取重水、石墨、聚乙烯等6种慢化材料,利用MCNP程序对不同的慢化材料进行模拟计算分析。计算结果表明,中子活化在线分析系统的最优化慢化材料为聚乙烯。实验测定了以聚乙烯为慢化材料的中子活化分析系统的热中子注量率随源到引出孔之间的距离以及探测器处于不同位置时的分布关系,为下一步进行中子活化在线分析研究提供了依据。  相似文献

The nuclear reactor core design and the nuclear fuel management have been changed remarkable during the last few years. This development was initiated by increasing costs for the fuel recycling and nuclear waste storage. The fuel material, the fuel pellet fabrication, the fuel assembly structure and the core composition have been varied to get an effective fuel exploitation. Based on advanced core process conditions the reactor power and the fuel burn-up have been increased at German plants in recent years. Improved dynamic process monitoring procedures are required to get more information about the varied core process behaviour during the reactor operation. Since several years ISTec has been performed investigations to the process monitoring based on process signal measurements in German nuclear power plants. Using the standard instrumentation of the plants process signals have been measured and analysed by means of the digital data acquisition system SIGMA. The measured time signals are influenced by core process transients, global and local process fluctuations and by signal line transfer functions. Advanced time series analysis methods have been applied to separate different process effects in the multiple signal matrix. The separation of different process influences can improve significantly the information about the process condition in the reactor core.  相似文献

利用TiH_2、ZrH_2的脱氢特性,结合粉末冶金方法,将TiH_2、Nb和ZrH_2粉末经混合球磨、压制成形,真空烧制得到Ti-13Nb-13Zr合金,对样品进行金相显微镜、SEM、XRD分析,结果表明:烧结坯体相对密度达到92.2%,合金主要组织为α+β型片状魏氏组织,且在合金形成过程中β稳定元素的Nb发挥作用,使得钛的β相在降温完成后仍稳定存在;α-Ti及α-Zr为六方密排(hcp)结构,β-Ti、Nb及β-Zr同为体心立方(bcc)结构。  相似文献

采用微弧氧化技术在ZrH1.8表面制备阻氢膜层,研究在Na5P3O10-NaOH-Na2EDTA电解液体系中K2ZrF6含量对膜层组织结构和阻氢性能的影响。借助场发射扫描电子显微镜(FESEM)和X射线衍射仪(XRD)分析膜层的微观结构和物相组成。采用涂层测厚仪对膜层的厚度进行测量,通过真空脱氢实验表征膜层的阻氢性能。相比未加入K2ZrF6时,电解液中添加适量K2ZrF6有助于改善膜层的表面质量,减少膜层中微孔和裂纹等缺陷的出现。XRD分析表明,不同K2ZrF6浓度时ZrH1.8表面微弧氧化制备的膜层均主要由m-ZrO2,t-ZrO2和少量c-ZrO2相组成。膜层厚度和氢渗透降低因子(PRF)随K2ZrF6浓度的增加均呈先增大后减小趋势,当K2ZrF6为4g·L-1时,膜层的厚度最大为68.7μm,PRF最大为13.1,且膜层中大尺寸缺陷较少,添加K2ZrF6制备的陶瓷膜的阻氢性能均得到提高。K2ZrF6添加剂的加入可以使ZrH1.8表面微弧氧化膜层的厚度增大,致密性增强,进而阻氢性能提高,膜层表面质量也得到改善。  相似文献

Liquid hydrogen (LH) is constituted by para hydrogen (pH) and ortho hydrogen (oH) molecules. We analyzed the neutron scattering cross sections for pH→oH, pH→pH, oH→pH, and oH→oH reactions in LH. Results show that incident neutron energy lower than 14.7 meV is not sufficient to achieve pH→oH conversion. As energy increases, the cross section of pH→oH reaction increases sharply. If incident neutron energy is larger than 30 meV, branching fraction of pH molecules being converted into oH molecules upon inelastic scattering with the neutrons approaches 100%. As for the opposite process, branching fraction of oH→pH conversion is 10%–20% when incident neutron energy is lower than 30 meV. This conversion fraction oscillates with increasing incident neutron energy, eventually stabilizing at 30%. Based on the cross sections of the four reaction channels, we calculated the corresponding conversion rates based on a reactor cold neutron source model. There is 0.12% pH molecules of LH moderator would be converted to oH for one month operation . If neutron flux increased by 2 orders of magnitude, more than 10% pH would be transformed into oH, which means relative conversion rate of pH→oH induced by neutron inelastic scattering is not negligible.  相似文献

A new method for estimating reactivity parameters, such as moderator temperature coefficient (MTC) and void reactivity coefficient (VRC), is proposed using steady-state noise data. In order to solve the ill-posed problem of reactivity parameter estimation, a concept of a gray box model is newly introduced. The gray box model includes a first principle based model and a black-box fitting model. The former model acts as a priori knowledge based constraints in a parameter estimation problem. After establishing the gray box and noise source models, the maximum likelihood estimation method based on Kalman filter is applied. Furthermore, it is shown that the frequency domain approach of the gray box model is useful in the case of VRC estimation. The effectiveness of the proposed algorithms is shown through numerical simulation and actual plant data analysis.  相似文献

One of the most problematic issues in contemporary meta-analysis is the estimation and interpretation of moderating effects. Monte Carlo analyses are developed in this article that compare bivariate correlations, ordinary least squares and weighted least squares (WLS) multiple regression, and hierarchical subgroup (HS) analysis for assessing the influence of continuous moderators under conditions of multicollinearity and skewed distribution of study sample sizes (heteroscedasticity). The results show that only WLS is largely unaffected by multicollinearity and heteroscedasticity, whereas the other techniques are substantially weakened. Of note, HS, one of the most popular methods, typically provides the most inaccurate results, whereas WLS, one of the least popular methods, typically provides the most accurate results.
