Analysis of a homologous series of non-reducing oligosaccharides from Arnica montana L. Roots

The oligosaccharide component compositions of a series of non-reducing oligosaccharides extracted from the roots of Arnica montana L. has been determined by gel permeation chromatography (g.p.c.). The range of oligosaccharides present was found to extend beyond the octasaccharide previously reported. with 16% to 19% of the oligosaccharides having a degree of polymerisation of between 11 and 19 and almost 3% having a degree of polymerisation greater than 20. The chromatographic behaviour of this series of oligosaccharides is compared with that observed for series of D-gluco-oligosaccharides.     

Production of perovskite-like La1−xCaxMnO3+δ ferromagnetic thin films by electrochemical reduction

Ferromagnetic and perovskite-like thin films (<1m) of La1–xCaxMnO3+ have been routinely prepared by heat treatment of an amorphous La–Ca–Mn precursor. The precursor was electrodeposited cathodically in the absence of oxygen and water onto polished silver substrates from a nonaqueous solution of the components' nitrates. Analysis by X-ray diffraction and SQUID magnetometry shows these materials exhibit the appropriate structural and magnetic phases indicative of colossal magnetoresistance.     

Numerical integration of singular integrands using low-discrepancy sequences

We investigate quasi-Monte Carlo integration for functions on thes-dimensional unit cube having point singularities. Error bounds are proved and the theoretical results are verified by computations using Halton, Sobol’ and Niederreiter sequences. Supported by the Austrian Science Foundation (Project 10223-PHY).     

Correction and evaluation of the effect due to parasitic motion on primary accelerometer calibration

Primary accelerometer calibration is carried out under the assumption that a vibration exciter gives a rectilinear motion to an accelerometer to be calibrated. However practical vibration given by the vibration exciter includes parasitic motion such as transverse, rocking, and bending motion. Such parasitic motion would give two serious effects on primary calibration results, transverse motion effect and vibration distribution effect. Transverse motion effect is caused by an inner product of the vectors of both transverse motion and transverse sensitivity. On the other hand, the vibration distribution effect is caused by relative motion between a sensing point of accelerometer and a spot sensed by the interferometer. As these effects have close interaction between parasitic motion and measuring instruments, it would be very difficult to evaluate them by measuring independently each component.

Effects of maturation and storage on solubility,emulsion stability and gelation properties of isolated soy proteins

Solubility, emulsion stability and gelation of isolated soy proteins and their 7S and 11S fractions from three stages of seed maturity were studied. The pH-solubility profile was similar irrespective of maturation and six-month storage. The 11S protein was more soluble in the acidic pH range than the 7S protein. Oil-in-water emulsion stability of isolated soy protein from mature soybeans was higher than that from the immature ones. This is due to the fact that there was more 7S fraction in the mature soybeans, and 7S protein was found to form a more stable emulsion than that formed from 11S protein. The result suggests that isolated soy protein from mature soybeans would serve as a better emulsifying agent. Heat-induced soy protein gels became weaker as the soybeans became more mature. This can be attributed to the higher content in the immature soybeans of 11S fraction which gives a stronger gel than 7S fraction in the protein from immature soybeans.

高g值高频响微机械加速度计研究

针对侵彻武器测试过程中冲击过载大和频率范围宽的特点,提出了一种微机械电容式加速度计结构,结构中采用分布在整个芯片上的小电容阵列来代替位于中间的单个大电容器.利用ANSYS对加速度计进行了仿真分析,得出加速度计的固有频率超过600 kHz,抗过载能力超过200 000 g,且电容变化量大,灵敏度高.文中还给出了加速度计芯片的加工工艺流程和接口电路.     

基于单片机的智能充电器

针对现有电动自行车充电器的不足设计一种基于STC1101E单片机的充电器。单片机通过检测充电电流来控制基于UC3842的开关电源,当充电电流小于设定值时关闭输出控制开关。单片机对充电时间计时,长时间无法转入浮充阶段时停止充电,并报警。利用该充电器充电能一定程度延长蓄电池的使用寿命。     

基于JDeveloper 10g的搜索应用程序设计

文章探讨如何访问一项搜索服务，并在一个简单的搜索应用程序中使用该服务。Web服务提供者使用Google Web API服务，并使用Oracle JDeveloper 10g生成一个Web服务客户端，同时以该客户端作为基础构建搜索应用程序。
