An effective coding approach for multiobjective integrated resource selection and operation sequences problem

In this paper, we consider an integrated Resource Selection and Operation Sequences (iRS/OS) problem in Intelligent Manufacturing System (IMS). Several kinds of objectives are taken into account, in which the makespan for orders should be minimized; workloads among machine tools should be balanced; the total transition times between machines in a local plant should also be minimized. To solve this multiobjective iRS/OS model, a new two vectors-based coding approach has been proposed to improve the efficiency by designing a chromosome containing two kinds of information, i.e., operation sequences and machine selection. Using such kind of chromosome, we adapt multistage operation-based Genetic Algorithm (moGA) to find the Pareto optimal solutions. Moreover a special technique called left-shift hillclimber has been used as one kind of local search to improve the efficiency of our algorithm. Finally, the experimental results of several iRS/OS problems indicate that our proposed approach can obtain best solutions. Further more comparing with previous approaches, moGA performs better for finding Pareto solutions. Received: May 2005/Accepted: December 2005

提出了一种新的基于统计的序列特征定义,并以此对进化树进行构建.同时对这一方法进行了分类测试和进化树构建测试,发现所得测试结果与同样是用进化树进行构建的基于两序列比对的传统算法比较,其性能和适用性都有明显改善.     

A machine learning system for identifying transmembrane domains from amino acid sequences

We present our machine learning system, that uses inductive logic programming techniques to learn how to identify transmembrane domains from amino acid sequences. Our system facilitates the use of operators such as ‘contains’, that act on entire sequences, rather than on individual elements of a sequence. The prediction accuracy of our new system is around 93%, and this compares favourably with earlier results. This work was carried out with the support of a research grant from ISIS, Fujitsu Laboratories.     

基于Gibbs模型的提高图像分辨率方法

在提高图像分辨率过程中,选择合适的成像模型是获得高分辨率图像的一个关键因素。提出一种基于最大后验概率、采用Gibbs成像模型,并利用多帧序列图像重构高分辨率图像的方法,充分利用序列图像之间的累加信息,从而快速地获得较其他方法更优的高分辨率图像。     

Wiener models of direction-dependent dynamic systems

Analysis of systems with direction-dependent dynamics is currently limited to cases in which the dynamics in the two directions of the output are first order; results for such systems have been published for both pseudo-random maximum-length binary (MLB) and inverse-repeat maximum-length binary (IR-MLB) inputs. These relatively limited analytical results make it useful to examine alternative ways of modelling such systems and in this paper, Wiener models are considered for this purpose. Methods for optimising the Wiener model parameters by matching the system and model cross-correlation functions, outputs, and discrete Fourier transforms of the outputs are considered, and the results are compared. These methods are also applied to a first-order direction-dependent system with a maximum-length ternary (MLT) input, for which no analytical results are currently available, and to a second-order system with an IR-MLB input.

一种混沌信号去噪方法的研究

以Takens嵌入定理和影子定理为理论依据，提出一种能对混沌信号去噪的局部投影方法。该方法不需潜在动力学系统的先验知识，符合工程实用的要求。通过实验结果表明这种方法对混沌信号去噪很有效。     

混沌电路同步的研究

本文叙述对混沌电路实现同步控制的实验研究之初步结果。所用的电路为蔡氏电路和锁相环电路。这项研究工作在通信系统中有应用前景。
