Ferrites are materials of interest due to their broad applications in high technological devices and a lot of research has been focused to synthesize new ferrites. In this regard, an effort has been devoted to synthesize spinel Pr–Ni co-substituted strontium ferrites with a nominal formula of Sr1-xPrxFe2-yNiyO4 (0.0 ≤ x ≤ 0.1, 0.0 ≤ y ≤ 1.0). The cubic structure of pure and Pr–Ni co-substituted strontium ferrite samples calcinated at 1073 K for 3 h has been confirmed through X-ray diffraction (XRD). Average sizes of crystallites (18–25 nm) have been estimated from XRD analysis and nanometer particle sizes of synthesized ferrites have been further verified by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). SEM results have also shown that particles are mostly agglomerated and all the samples possess porosity. It has been observed that at 298 K, the values of resistivity (ρ) increase, while that of AC conductivity, dielectric loss, and dielectric constants decrease with increasing amounts of Pr3+ and Ni2+ ions. The values of dielectric parameters initially decrease with frequency and later become constant and can be explained on the basis of dielectric polarization. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) studies show that the charge transport phenomenon in ferrite materials is mainly controlled via grain boundaries. Overall, synthesized ferrite materials own enhanced resistivity values in the range of 1.38 × 109–1.94 × 109 Ω cm and minimum dielectric losses, which makes them suitable candidates for high frequency devices applications. 相似文献

In this work, the grain boundaries composition of the polycrystalline CaCu3Ti4O12 (CCTO) was investigated. A Focused Ion Beam (FIB)/lift-out technique was used to prepare site-specific thin samples of the grain boundaries interface of CCTO ceramics. Scanning transmission electron microscopy (STEM) coupled with energy dispersive X-ray spectrometry (EDXS) and Electron Energy Loss Spectroscopy (EELS) systems were used to characterize the composition and nanostructure of the grain and grain boundaries region. It is known that during conventional sintering, discontinuous grain growth occurs and a Cu-rich phase appears at grain boundaries. This Cu-rich phase may affect the final dielectric properties of CCTO but its structure and chemical composition remained unknown. For the first time, this high-resolution FIB-TEM-STEM study of CCTO interfacial region highlights the composition of the phases segregated at grain boundaries namely CuO, Cu2O and the metastable phase Cu3TiO4. 相似文献

We deal with the mathematical model of the incremental degradation of the internal coating (e.g. a polymeric material) of a metallic pipe in which a fluid flows relatively fast. The fluid drags solid impurities so that longitudinal scratches, inaccessible to any direct inspection procedure, are produced on the coating. Time evolution of this kind of defects can be reconstructed from the knowledge of a sequence of temperature maps of the external surface. The time-varying orthogonal section of this damaged interface is determined as a function of time and polar angle through the identification of a suitable effective heat transfer coefficient by means of Thin Plate Approximation. 相似文献

Motion of a stick-slip piezo actuator is generally controlled by the parameters related to its mechanical design and characteristics of the driving pulses applied to piezoceramic shear plates. The goal of the proposed optimization method is to find the driving pulse parameters leading to the fastest and the most reliable actuator operation. In the paper the method is tested on a rotary stick-slip piezo actuating system utilized in an atomic force microscope.The optimization is based on the measurement of the actuator response to driving pulses of different shapes and repetition frequencies at various load forces. To provide it, a computer controlled testing system generating the driving pulses, and detecting and recording the corresponding angular motion response of the actuator by a position sensitive photo detector (PSPD) in real time has been developed. To better understand and interpret the experimental results, supportive methods based on a simple analytical model and numerical simulations were used as well.In this way the shapes of the single driving pulses and values of the load force providing the biggest actuator steps were determined. Generally, the maximal steps were achieved for such a combination of the pulse shapes and load forces providing high velocities at the end of the sticking mode of the actuator motion and, at the same time, lower decelerations during the slipping mode.As for the multiple driving pulses, the pulse shapes and values of repetition frequency ensuring the sticking mode of the actuator motion during the pulse rise time together with the maximum average angular rotor velocity were specified. In this way the effective and stable operation conditions of the actuator were provided.In principle, the presented method can be applied for the testing and optimization of any linear or angular stick-slip actuator. 相似文献

Cr2AlC and its composites containing α-Al2O3 (6.1 and 15.2 wt %) were prepared by hot pressing and their corrosion behaviors in air-saturated 3.5 wt % NaCl aqueous solution were investigated by electrochemical testing methods. It was revealed that the secondary phase of Al2O3 particles mainly distributed along grain boundaries of Cr2AlC matrix. The potentiodynamic polarization measurements showed that the corrosion current densities of these Cr2AlC composites were lower than that of the pure Cr2AlC. The Aluminum in Cr2AlC was prone to be attacked more easily. When immersed at open circuit potential (OCP), Al readily slipped out from Cr2AlC matrix into NaCl solution in the form of dissoluble species. But in the case of polarization, regardless of potentiostatic polarization or potentiodynamic polarization, more de-intercalated Al, reacted with the electrolyte to form corrosion products of Al2O3 and/or AlOOH and deposited on the sample surface. For Cr2AlC/α-Al2O3 composites, the presence of Al2O3 weakened the corrosion along grain boundaries by partly blocking the permeation of electrolyte and inhibiting the anodic dissolution process. 相似文献

Structures of grain boundaries and triple line junctions in nanocrystalline materials are of interest owing to large fractions
of atoms in nanocrystalline materials being at these interfacial positions. Grain boundary and triple line junction structures
in nanocrystalline palladium have been studied using high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM). The main micro
structural features observed include the varying atomic structures of grain boundaries and the presence of disordered regions
at triple line junctions. Also, there is variation in lattice parameters in different nanocrystalline grains. Geometric phase
analysis is used to quantify atomic displacements within nanocrystalline grains. Displacement fields thus detected indicate

view. For out-of-view reconstruction, a homography capable of transforming feature points and feature lines between a microscopic
image and a CAD model of the switch is implemented. The homography between two sequential microscopic images is decomposed
and factorized for motion estimation. Optical flow has also been explored to provide rough estimations of rotation centre
and angle. The paper also illustrates motion parameter optimization principles to deal with uncertainty inherent in micro
world. After non-linear optimization, estimation accuracy for rotation angle and rotation centre can reach 0.06° and pixel
