The antioxidant vitamin E, -tocopherol, was tested as a candidate elicitor of alterable antiherbivory in soybean plants against cabbage looper larvae. Although a nonspecific antioxidant, vitamin E proved elicitory to the involved sulfhydryl-dependent receptor-energy transducer protein in soybean plasma membrane. Effects of -tocopherol were dependent on dosage, time, and space in the plant. The observed elicited effects were all decreases in herbivory. The best negative phytochemical correlate of looper feeding was the percentage of increased total HPLC peak area of extractables from elicited as compared to nonelicited leaves. Some specific compounds, e.g., glyceollins, were quantitatively major components of the total profile of secondary metabolites. 相似文献

In order to overcome the limitation of hydro-rim deep drawing, a new process of hydrodynamic deep drawing (HDD) with independent
radial hydraulic pressure was proposed. By employing the dynamic explicit analytical software ETA/Dynaform5.5 which is based
on LS-DYNA3D, the effects of independent radial hydraulic pressure on the stress, strain and the sheet-thickness of aluminum-magnesium
cylindrical cup with a hemispherical bottom were analyzed by numerical simulation. The feature of stress distribution is that
there exists a stress-dividing circle in the flange, and the radius of dividing circle was determined by theoretical analysis
and stimulation. The experimental results indicate that the reasonable match of independent radial hydraulic pressure and
liquid chamber pressure can effectively reduce the thinning at the bottom of hemisphere, decrease the radial stress-strain,
and improve the drawing limit of aluminum-magnesium alloy cylindrical cup.

State feedback control of continuous-time T-S fuzzy systems via switched fuzzy controllers 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
This paper studies the problem of state feedback control of continuous-time T-S fuzzy systems. Switched fuzzy controllers are exploited in the control design, which are switched based on the values of membership functions, and the control scheme is an extension of the parallel distributed compensation (PDC) scheme. Sufficient conditions for designing switched state feedback controllers are obtained with meeting an H∞ norm bound requirement and quadratic D stability constraints. It is shown that the new control design method provides less conservative results than the corresponding ones via the parallel distributed compensation (PDC) scheme. A numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. 相似文献

In recent earthquakes, many buildings have been damaged due to the soft‐storey mechanism failure. The seismic design codes for buildings do not contain enough criteria to predict the real displacement of such buildings. This paper focuses on evaluating the nonlinear displacement of buildings that fail in soft‐storey mechanism form. Results show that the nonlinear static procedure with coefficient method, which is described in Chapter 3 of ASCE/SEI 41‐06, does not have sufficient accuracy for estimation of structure displacement demand in such buildings. In this paper, the coefficient methodology is used for evaluating the target displacement for 5‐storey, 8‐storey and 15‐storey special moment resisting steel frames. For this purpose, dynamic nonlinear time‐history analysis has been applied for the mentioned structures having a soft‐storey mechanism failure form. The numerical results of storey displacement and interstorey drift were compared with those values obtained from the coefficient method described in Chapter 3 of ASCE/SEI 41‐06.
