No-Reference Video Quality Assessment using novel hybrid features and two-stage hybrid regression for score level fusion

This paper presents a novel No-Reference Video Quality Assessment (NR-VQA) model that utilizes proposed 3D steerable wavelet transform-based Natural Video Statistics (NVS) features as well as human perceptual features. Additionally, we proposed a novel two-stage regression scheme that significantly improves the overall performance of quality estimation. In the first stage, transform-based NVS and human perceptual features are separately passed through the proposed hybrid regression scheme: Support Vector Regression (SVR) followed by Polynomial curve fitting. The two visual quality scores predicted from the first stage are then used as features for the similar second stage. This predicts the final quality scores of distorted videos by achieving score level fusion. Extensive experiments were conducted using five authentic and four synthetic distortion databases. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method outperforms other published state-of-the-art benchmark methods on synthetic distortion databases and is among the top performers on authentic distortion databases. Sinusoidal disturbance rejection in chaotic planar oscillators

The main goal of this paper is to design a compensator able to restore the nominal behavior of a planar system, which is rendered chaotic by an unmeasurable sinusoidal disturbance input. To reach such a goal, some instruments, taken from algebraic geometry, are used to estimate the unmeasurable disturbance from the time derivatives of the output of the system and of the control input. Adaptive actuator failure compensation design for unknown chaotic multi‐input systems

In this paper, an adaptive control approach is designed for compensating the faults in the actuators of chaotic systems and maintaining the acceptable system stability. We propose a state‐feedback model reference adaptive control scheme for unknown chaotic multi‐input systems. Only the dimensions of the chaotic systems are required to be known. Based on Lyapunov stability theory, new adaptive control laws are synthesized to accommodate actuator failures and system nonlinearities. An illustrative example is studied. Non-chaotic and chaotic propagation of stationary and dynamic images through MVKS turbulence

Anisoplanatic electromagnetic (EM) propagation across a turbulent atmosphere has been recently examined for an unmodulated carrier propagating over an image-bearing transparency through optical lensing, and for the embedded information inside a carrier recovered using heterodyning and digital demodulation. Carrier modulation yielded better recovery than simple lens-based imaging. A possible mitigation strategy is proposed whereby the image information is encrypted on an RF chaotic carrier, thereafter secondarily embedded onto an optical carrier. Results based on the modified von Karman (MVKS) and the Hufnagel-Valley (H-V) models showed that the signal/image recovery under turbulence is improved compared with non-chaotic propagation. The case of time-varying/dynamic images is also taken up; it is demonstrated via cross-correlation products that turbulence is mitigated by the use of chaotic carrier encryption. Overall, transmission via chaos offers mitigation against distortions due to turbulence along with the security feature inherent via the chaos keys which prevent signal recovery without key-matching.

An Exploratory Study of E-Business Success Factors

E-business success factors are Important for traditional enterprises to implement e-business. This topic is attracting more and more researchers to study. This paper makes an exploratory study on the factors influencing e-business success. Firstly, based on the literature review, 52 factors are suggested. Secondly, two rounds of survey with Delphi method are conducted. Qualitative and quantitative analysis are used to identify 57 factors. This is the foundation of empirical study.     

基于有限状态的全周期序列混沌映射的研究

在有限长度的数字计算机中，混沌迭代序列是一个有限周期序列，其相关性能远远低于理想序列。基于skew tent映射，提出一种离散化的有限状态混沌映射，它允许精确的数值计算，没有舍入误差，通过选择合适的参数，映射能产生全周期长度的序列。仿真实验表明，归一化的序列平均周期对计算机精度不敏感，生成的二进制序列具有良好的相关性能。     

海杂波中基于混沌预测的目标检测方法改进

基于记忆库非线性预测的NP-CFAR方法是目前混沌海杂波背景中目标检测的一种典型而先进的方法.考虑到海杂波功率与特征的时变不稳定性,本文提出运用旋转超盒分类取代这一方法中的NP-CFAR进行目标检测,并探讨了运用盒维数特征提取进行预处理以节省运算开销的问题.仿真实验验证了本文所提改进方法的有效性.     

基于WVD的防空雷达直升机信号特征分析

基于直升机目标旋转部件的调制模型，本文针对防空雷达提出了分析直升机信号特征的一种新方法——WVD法，并对直升机目标旋转部件调制回波信号在不同噪声情况下加以仿真分析，结果表明：用WVD分析雷达回波中直升机信号特征是一种非常有效的方法。
