Overlapping Schwarz and Spectral Element Methods for Linear Elasticity and Elastic Waves

The classical overlapping Schwarz algorithm is here extended to the spectral element discretization of linear elastic problems, for both homogeneous and heterogeneous compressible materials. The algorithm solves iteratively the resulting preconditioned system of linear equations by the conjugate gradient or GMRES methods. The overlapping Schwarz preconditioned technique is then applied to the numerical approximation of elastic waves with spectral elements methods in space and implicit Newmark time advancing schemes. The results of several numerical experiments, for both elastostatic and elastodynamic problems, show that the convergence rate of the proposed preconditioning algorithm is independent of the number of spectral elements (scalability), is independent of the spectral degree in case of generous overlap, otherwise it depends inversely on the overlap size. Some results on the convergence properties of the spectral element approximation combined with Newmark schemes for elastic waves are also presented.     

一种改进的交错脉冲解速度模糊方法

研究了脉冲多普勒气象雷达中用于解速度模糊的交错脉冲方法，理论分析了时域脉冲对处理中速度估计公式的局限性，同时对该公式进行了修正。仿真结果表明，改进的交错脉冲方法具有更好的解速度模糊性能，而且易于实时处理。     

Stabilization of fixed modes in expansions of LTI systems

The objective of this note is to propose a method for stabilization of structurally fixed modes in expansions of LTI dynamic systems in the scope of overlapping decentralized control design based on the expansion/contraction framework, enabling successful design for a broader class of problems than considered so far. The method is based on a judicious choice of complementary matrices in the expanded space. Numerical examples are provided to illustrate simplicity and efficiency of the proposed approach.     

模糊自动机在电磁波识别中的应用

研制了一个模糊处理和神经网络相结合的自动机,使用模糊技术从未处理的电磁信号波纹图像中处理模糊几何特征属性,进行波纹分类与识别。当使用模糊自动机(FA)进行识别紊乱波纹时,这些模糊几何特征是最好的。而对这些模糊几何特征的辨识,使用FA是很好的。     

Cyclic strength of parts with overlapping zones formed by roller burnishing

The authors study residual stresses in and cyclic strength of shaft with overlapping zones formed during roller burnishing. Covering a string

We consider the problem of finding the repetitive structures of a given stringx. The periodu of the stringx grasps the repetitiveness ofx, sincex is a prefix of a string constructed by concatenations ofu. We generalize the concept of repetitiveness as follows: A stringw covers a stringx if there is a superstring ofx which is constructed by concatenations and superpositions ofw. A substringw ofx is called aseed ofx ifw coversx. 完全子图的邻域重叠社团结构探测

为了能够更准确地对邻域重叠网络进行社团结构探测,对基于完全子图的社团探测算法进行了改进。在合并完全子图团簇时,计算每一对完全子图的重叠节点个数,设置合并完全子图的阈值,如果大于阈值,则合并。当处理不在团簇内的其他节点时,按照比例系数大小为划分规则进行划分。该算法可以应用于空手道俱乐部和科学家合作网当中,其验证算法可以更准确地探测邻域重叠社团结构。     

Semantic analysis in XTRA,an English — Chinese machine translation system

This paper concerns the resolution of lexical ambiguity in a machine translation environment. We describe the integration of principles of selection restrictions. Preference Semantics, and intelligent relaxation of constraints in handling lexical ambiguity. The approach differs from many previous MT systems in that it is more powerful than brute force systems, while more realistic than systems that assume a large degree of coded encyclopedia information for full understanding.
