Communicating with sensors has long been limited either to wired connections or to proprietary wireless communication protocols. Using a ubiquitous and inexpensive wireless communication technology to create Sensor Area Networks (SANs) will accelerate the extensive deployment of sensor technology. Bluetooth, an emerging, worldwide standard for inexpensive, local wireless communication is a viable choice for SANs because of its inherent support for some of the important requirements – low power, small form factor, low cost and sufficient communication range. In this paper we outline an approach, centered on the Bluetooth technology, to support a sensor network composed of fixed wireless sensors for health monitoring of highways, bridges and other civil infrastructures. We present a topology formation scheme that not only takes into account the traffic generated by different sensors but also the associated link strengths, buffer capacities and energy availability. The algorithm makes no particular assumptions as to the placement of nodes, and not all nodes need to be in radio proximity of each other. The output is a tree shaped scatternet rooted at the sensor hub (data logger) that is balanced in terms of traffic carried on each of the links. On the basis of generalization of the results of investigation of the operation of rodlike elements of composite materials, we make a conclusion that the influence of various factors on the deformability of these elements is studied incompletely. The comparison of the stress-strain states for different models of concrete and reinforced-concrete elements makes it possible to describe the effect of longitudinal reinforcement (coefficient of reinforcement, strength and deformation characteristics) on the critical level of strains in the cross section. According to the results of our investigations, we give recommendations concerning the evaluation of the critical value of the coefficient of reinforcement above which one may observe the effect of reinforcement on the deformability of the analyzed sections. It is shown that the compression strength of the brittle base of the composite with inhomogeneous structure decreases as a result of the fracture processes. It is also demonstrated that the existing procedure used for the evaluation of the indicated decrease in strength requires significant improvement. The problem of evaluation of the ultimate value of the coefficient of reinforcement is also analyzed. 相似文献

BaMgAl10O17∶Eu2 (BAM) was prepared in the microemulsion system and its phase behavior was studied. There exists a small region in the reverse microemulsion system where the dispersed particles are of spherical form. In this way, BAM blue phosphor with good dispersion can be synthesized. The microemulsion phase diagrams of the pseudo-ternary system (Triton X-100/cosurfactant-oil-BAM brine) were first established intuitively by the dilution method. The microstructure of microemulsions was determined through eyeballing, conductance technique, and polar optical microscopy. Its phase behavior is affected by various factors, such as temperature (room temperature, 30, 40 ℃), oil, surfactants, and cosurfactants in microemulsions. According to the phase diagrams, the microemulsion system of Triton X-100/1-hexanol-hexane-BAM brine was chosen to prepare the precursor. The BAM phosphor can be obtained via sintering the precursor at a comparatively low temperature. The phosphors were characterized by XRD and vacuum ultraviolet (VUV) spectra. 相似文献
