Ontologies recently have become a topic of interest in computer science since they are seen as a semantic support to explicit and enrich data-models as well as to ensure interoperability of data. Moreover, supporting ontology adaptation becomes essential and extremely important, mainly when using ontologies in changing environments. An important issue when dealing with ontology adaptation is the management of several versions. Ontology versioning is a complex and multifaceted problem as it should take into account change management, versions storage and access, consistency issues, etc. The purpose of this paper is to propose an approach and tool for ontology adaptation and versioning. A series of techniques are proposed to ‘safely’ evolve a given ontology and produce a new consistent version. The ontology versions are ordered in a graph according to their relevance. The relevance is computed based on four criteria: conceptualisation, usage frequency, abstraction and completeness. The techniques to carry out the versioning process are implemented in the Consistology tool, which has been developed to assist users in expressing adaptation requirements and managing ontology versions.  相似文献

Heterogeneous as well as distributed databases make data conflicts inevitable. Both tolerate the entry of conflicting values in data objects, e.g., the value “female” may be entered by one user whereas another may put “male” in the same data object. Such inconsistencies in databases are common and are resolved routinely by built in structured mechanisms. Unresolved conflicts are typically quarantined till they can be resolved. But, there are situations for which there are no structured mechanisms to resolve conflicts while having to maintain application flow. Moreover, there are situations, i.e., medical or financial environments, in which conflicts must be stored so that their effects be analyzed for decision making. The current research proposes a model and a technique for living with database conflicts. The technique, named Temporal Branching, integrates and extends temporal oriented databases, temporal versioning, and log-file approaches and offers a solution and flexible structure readily accessible to retrieval and audits by standard DBMS software. 为应对危害日益严重的恶意软件,提出在文件系统层对恶意软件进行分析和防御,并尽可能减少其影响的方法,设计实现了面向恶意软件分析和保护的文件系统(MAPFS). 该系统通过文件版本化技术和钩子技术,可记录1个进程在其生命过程中对文件系统的一系列修改. 这些行为记录可作为分析恶意软件的重要依据,也可用于对被破坏的重要文件进行恢复保护. 实验结果表明,该方法可有效用于恶意软件的分析及保护,MAPFS在性能方面的影响低于10%.  相似文献

Abstract

Traditionally, design learning in the architecture studio has taken place through a combination of individual work and joint projects. The introduction of code-based design practices in the design studio has altered this balance, introducing new models of joint authorship and new ways for individuals to contribute to co-authored projects. This paper presents a case study describing four design studios in a higher education setting that used code as a tool for generating architectural geometry. The format of the studios encouraged the students to reflect critically on their role as authors and to creatively address the multiple opportunities for shared authorship available with code-based production. The research question addressed in this study involved the role of code-based practices in altering the model of architectural education in the design studio, in particular the role of visual representations of a code-based design process in the production of shared knowledge.  相似文献

智能调度要求完整、一致、准确、及时、可靠的电网模型数据支持。文中提出了一种多维度电网模型一体化存储与管理方法,以满足"横向集成、纵向贯通"和调度中心基于全电网模型的分析、计算以及智能调度等新型业务需要。该方法基于版本化分布式数据库建立了一体化存储与管理机制,将不同历史版本、不同地区、不同应用CIM/E格式电网模型数据统一存储于分布式数据库中。文中所提出的方法不但可以在时间维度上进行电网模型可追溯管理、在空间维度上实现各地区与全网模型统一存储,而且可以满足公共信息模型和私有应用模型存储与管理需求,此外,电网模型在分布式数据库中以增量方式存储,大大减少了冗余数据。  相似文献

Software development is a collaborative activity that requires teams of software engineers to cooperate and work in parallel on versions of models. However, model management techniques such as model differencing, merging, and versioning have turned out to be difficult challenges, due to the complexity of operations and graph-like nature of models. Therefore, a well-developed support for model merging process, as well as conflict management, is highly desired. This paper presents a novel process for model merging, called the Epsilon-based Three-way Merging Process (E3MP) process. Model merging is a significant problem where there are different versions of a system model amongst modeler teams. E3MP includes three components implemented into the Epsilon framework. First, modelers can define domain-specific rules that customize the merging process. Second, E3MP enables an automated method for syntactic and semantic conflict detection amongst different versions of the system model. Third, E3MP puts forward a pattern-based approach for conflict resolution. We applied two generic benchmarks to assess conflict detection and resolution capabilities of our approach and carried out an initial scalability evaluation for the model merge with large models and large change sets. The results of our experiments revealed that the proposed process allows generating consistent and semantically correct merged models.  相似文献

Digital or information goods are becoming the norm across a wide variety of industries including books, music, entertainment, gaming and education. Due to the fact that the marginal cost of producing or reproducing information goods is very low, it is much easier to customise and personalise them for individual users. Furthermore, sellers of these information goods are increasingly using bundling and versioning strategies to appropriate a greater share of the surplus. This paper examines recent research on pricing of information goods with particular focus on customisation, bundling and versioning strategies adopted by information goods providers. The paper highlights both game-theoretic as well as optimisation models that not only provide different perspectives, but also examine issues of information goods pricing at different levels of abstraction and complexity.  相似文献
