A hybrid homogeneously weighted moving average control chart for process monitoring

Several modifications and enhancements to control charts in increasing the performance of small and moderate process shifts have been introduced in the quality control charting techniques. In this paper, a new hybrid control chart for monitoring process location is proposed by combining two homogeneously weighted moving average (HWMA) control charts. The hybrid homogeneously weighted moving average (HHWMA) statistic is derived using two smoothing constants λ₁ and λ₂ . The average run length (ARL) and the standard deviation of the run length (SDRL) values of the HHWMA control chart are obtained and compared with some existing control charts for monitoring small and moderate shifts in the process location. The results of study show that the HHWMA control chart outperforms the existing control charts in many situations. The application of the HHWMA chart is demonstrated using a simulated data.     

An experimental study of adaptive control for evolutionary algorithms

In this paper, we investigate how adaptive operator selection techniques are able to efficiently manage the balance between exploration and exploitation in an evolutionary algorithm, when solving combinatorial optimization problems. We introduce new high level reactive search strategies based on a generic algorithm's controller that is able to schedule the basic variation operators of the evolutionary algorithm, according to the observed state of the search. Our experiments on SAT instances show that reactive search strategies improve the performance of the solving algorithm.     

基于分段加权的反向稀疏跟踪算法研究

为提高稀疏表示跟踪模型性能，提出一种分段加权的反向稀疏跟踪算法，将跟踪问题转化为在贝叶斯框架下寻找概率最高的候选对象问题，构造不同的分段权重函数来分别度量候选目标与正负模板的判别特征系数。通过池化来降低跟踪结果的不确定性干扰，选择正负模板加权系数差值最大的候选表示作为跟踪结果。实验表明，在光照变化、遮挡、快速运动、运动模糊情况下，所提出的算法可以确保跟踪结果的准确性和鲁棒性。     

多运营商高铁隧道移动网络覆盖方案

高铁移动网络覆盖是国内三大通信运营商的一个重点,而高铁隧道内移动网络覆盖更是运营商的一大难点痛点。文章根据我国中部省份某高铁线路覆盖规划实例,采用“设备+POI+泄漏电缆”模式,即三家运营商信号源设备通过同一POI(point of interface,多系统接入平台)接入,信号输出到泄漏电缆进行隧道覆盖,隧道口场坪站安装宽频切换天线对隧道外进行延伸覆盖,通过链路预算合理布置各运营商主设备信号源,从而实现隧道到室外的无缝覆盖。最后,根据已有成熟网络覆盖解决方案,对未来5G高铁隧道移动网络覆盖方案进行了探讨。     

基于聚类的数据加权优化在犯罪预测中的应用

近年来，我国传统暴力犯罪与成年人犯罪呈下降态势，但是，犯罪案由层出不穷。为有效提升公安实践工作中犯罪预测能力，打击各类违法犯罪事件,本文针对犯罪数据，提出一种新型犯罪预测模型。利用密度聚类分析方法将犯罪数据分类，然后进行数据降维提取关键属性生成特征数据，继而对特征数据进行加权优化并采用机器学习的方式对特征数据进行学习，从而预测犯罪案由。实验结果表明，与传统方法相比，本文方法具有更好的预测效果，为公安实践工作中类似案件的侦破和预防，提供新的路径支撑。

Some individuals are able to determine the weekday of a given date in a few seconds (finding for instance that June 12, 1900, was a Tuesday). This ability has fascinated scientists for many years because it is predominantly observed in people with limited intelligence and may appear very early in life. Exceptional visual memory, exceptional concentration abilities, or privileged access to lower levels of information not normally available through introspection have been advanced to explain such phenomena. In the present article, the authors show that a simple cognitive model can explain all aspects of the performance of Donny, a young autistic savant who is possibly the fastest and most accurate calendar prodigy ever described. Cued recall from image and sentence memory: A shift from episodic to identical elements representation.

The applicability of the identical elements (IE) model of arithmetic fact retrieval (T. C. Rickard, A. F. Healy, & L. E. Bourne, 1994) to cued recall from episodic (image and sentence) memory was explored in 3 transfer experiments. In agreement with results from arithmetic, speedup following even minimal practice recalling a missing word from an episodically bound word triplet did not transfer positively to other cued recall items involving the same triplet. The shape of the learning curve further supported a shift from episode-based to IE-based recall, extending some models of skill learning to cued recall practice. In contrast with previous findings, these results indicate that a form of representation that is independent of the original episodic memory underlies cued-recall performance following minimal practice.
