Stress Analysis of Heat Distribution Pipelines and Practice Application

The importance of stress analysis of heat distribution pipelines was introduced. The stress analysis of the objective, principle, main content and its safety evaluation was proposed. It was difficult for the average engineers to solve the problem for the high technique requirements. A general model for stress analysis of heat distribution pipelines was presented. The software of CAESAR lI was used to do stress calculation for thermal pipe combined with examples. Afterwards, the stress analysis of the problems was summarized that may be encountered in the process and discussed several methods to solve nroblems.
