激光晶体热效应的阶梯泵浦技术

摘    要:针对大功率固体激光器热效应纵向分布不均匀,提出分散热效应思路。根据激光晶体的吸收系数和掺杂浓度的关系设计了阶梯泵浦技术。以LD端面泵浦Nd:YAG固体激光器为例,讨论了激光晶体的最佳分段数、每段晶体的最佳掺杂浓度和最佳长度,仿真分析了热效应的改善情况。结果表明,阶梯泵浦技术能有效降低激光晶体的温度,使泵浦光的吸收功率密度分布、热效应沿轴向分布更均匀。

Abstract:In view of the non-uniform vertical thermal distribution of high-power solid laser, the concept of scatter thermal effect is put forward. According to the relationship between laser crystal absorption coefficient and laser crystal doping concentration, the ladder pump technology is developed. With LD end pumped Nd : YAG solidstate lasers as an example, this paper discusses the optimal numbers of laser crystal section, the crystal best doping concentration and the best length of each segment of crystals. A simulation analysis is made of the improvement of thermal effect, which shows that the ladder pump technology can effectively reduce the laser crystal temperature, making the pump efficiency and absorbing power density distribution more uniform and thermal effect along the axial distribution more evenly.
