| Abstract: | The intelligent material is a new kind of composite material that can sense the external changes of environment and automatically alter its own properties to adapt to these changes. At the same time, it has self-diagnostic, self-regulative, self-adaptive and self-healing functions. This article introduces the basic structure, theory of operation and sorts and summarizes its applications, it also discusses the value of study and the wide developing prospect of the intelligent material. |
