| Abstract: | Basic principle and content in standard ASTM E23-02 "Standard Test Methods for Notched Bar Impact testing of Metallic Materials" and ASTM A370-03a "Standard Test Methods and Definitions for Mechanical Testing of Steel Products" were described in this paper. Various test methods between ASTM standard and GB/T 229-1994 were compared. |
