Internet视频流系统及其实现技术研究

首先回顾了基于Internet C／S结构的几种主要的视频信号处理技术，讨论了这些技术在Internet环境下的适用性，认为目前业界已有的研究成果并不适用于Internet视频流应用系统。在此基础上，分析了几种现行解决方案的优缺点，提出了视频流应用系统中比较有潜力的研究领域和工业界急待解决的技术课题。

Study on Implementation of Internet Video Streaming System

This paper is to review several important signal processing issues related to video streaming, and puts them in the context of a client-server based media streaming architecture on the Internet. Such a context is critical, a number of solutions proposed by signal processing researchers are simply unrealistic for real-world video streaming on the Internet. We further identify a family of viable solutions and evaluate their pros and cons. Finally, we identify the promising areas of research that have been received less attention and point to the problems to which a better solution is eagerly sought by the industry.
