A mill-wide system for a paper mill

A mill-wide system has been developed for a paper mill. The system controls and supervises the plant from stock preparation to finishing. The system consists of the duplex control computers, a production scheduling computer, automated roll storage yard, transporting equipments and other related control devices. The functions of the system are (1) production scheduling and operation control; (2) tracking product information; (3) automatic roll and bale handling control, label printing, and roll printing. The system is presently in operation.
