| Abstract: | The retrofit work of the first feedwater pump for a 200 MW unit in China is introduced. The economic contrast analysis between steam turbine driven and electric motor driven pumps is performed under identical conditions. The measures to improve the efficiency of the turbinedriven pump are proposed. This is a probe into the feasibility of retrofitting the turbinedriven pump for 200 MW unit. |
