Adjustment for industrial structure:a strategic measure for rural reservoir resttlement

Rural reservoir resettlement arrangement is a very important and complicatedtask in the reservoir inundation treatment and resettlement planning.In light of the history ofreservoir resettlement in China,it is expounded in this paper that the adjustment of agricultural production structure must be considered during recovery and solidifying stages of emigrant economy,even during the resettlement planning 3and that while the economic development stage,the full adjustment of the industrial structure will become an objective demand ofrural reservoir resettlement and a natural tendency of economic development in the reservoirarea,and also a strategic measure for ensuring to emigrants a stable and plentiful life.
