Abstract:The implementation of a PC-based expert system rules-to-neural network translator is described. Knowledge expressed as rules is translated to a neural network representation. The generated structure simulates a neural network which is able to perform as the original expert system—conclusions are drawn from user-supplied facts based on the inherent knowledge.
