Abstract: | Experimental results for two aspects of the behaviour of bolted joints in pultruded composite materials are presented. The points considered are the effects of the area and the material used for clamping on the bearing strength, and the effect of the end distance on the shear strength of materials which contain a high proportion of axial fibres. |
