| 摘 要： | 本文从当前英美文学的教学现状入手，论述了英美文学教学对大学生文化素质教育的重要意义。接着，本文了探讨素质教育背号下的英美文学教学模式，把传授知识、培养能力和提高素质结合起来，从而推进英美文学教学中的素质教育，让素质教育贯穿于英美文学教学的始终。

Then, it explores how to impart knowledge, build students＇ capacity and improve quality through new teaching models, thus advancing quality odueation and running the quality education throughout the process of British- American Literature teaching. |
