Abstract: | In order to choose a method for separating microspheres from ash of the Apatity Thermal Power Plant (TPP) their size distribution
and mechanism of formation are investigated. The physicotechnical characteristics of lightweight high-temperature heat-insulating
materials are presented as a function of the proportion of ASVM to alumina, the kind of the binder, the pressing pressure,
and the heat-treatment temperature.
