| Abstract: | In this paper, firstly, the technology features of direct quenching （DQ） technology after rolling and strength-toughness mechanism are briefly introduced; Secondly, the key DQ techniques applied in the medium and heavy plate production and the typical microstmcture are analyzed in detail; Finally, application instances of DQ tech-nology in high strength medium and heavy plate production are highlighted. |
