摘    要:为了评价3GPP标准化的AMR VAD应用于汉语普通话的性能,采用正式的客观测试方法作为性能的度量准则,该准则主要基于剪音概率,话音激活因子,噪声误检为语音的概率和语音输入电平4个参数,在不同背景环境,不同信噪比和不同语音输入电平下,完成了AMRVAD和两种参考VAD(EFR和G.729B)的仿真的。结果表明,AMR VAD总体性能优于G.729VAD,而较EFR VAD略差。

Abstract:To evaluate the performance of adaptive multi rate (AMR) voice activity detection (VAD) algorithm standardized by 3GPP applied to Mandarin, the formal objective test method is adopted as the performance metric, this kind of method is based on statistics of clipping probability, voice activity factor, noise detected as speech probability and speech input level. With different background noises and different signal to noise ratios, the AMR VAD algorithm is simulated and compared with both reference VADs including enhanced full rate (EFR) and ITU G.729B. The results show that the AMR VAD performs better than G.729B VAD and worse than EFR VAD in most of cases.
