Study on the Landform Strategy of the Urban Square Form

Urban Square shows the strength and culture of a city.We need them to be experiential,artistic,and characteristic both physically and spiritually.The site of a square is always unique.Only by taking measures as one suitable to topographic form can we highlight the characteristics of the site.In this way,the square can promote and guide the city life to be dynamic.In this paper,the writer analyzed some typical examples in recent years,the purpose of which is to mold the landform.Besides,the writer also make a classification of form character by generalizing and analyzing their features and influencing factors.The purpose of this paper is to provide some references for relevant design practice and make preparations for following research.
