碉楼:多样性与地域性的应答

碉楼在我国分布极广,但它们的起源和发展却有着区别:川西碉楼是西南碉楼的发源地,经过战争传播,由军扩展至民,增强了川黔传统民居的防御性；而开平碉楼来自于传统民居的楼化和碉化；前者实现方式是平面附加,后者则是竖向叠层.碉楼具有的多样性,是各自传统建筑文化与技术对防御功能的地域性应答的结果.

Watchtowers: Diversity and Regional Response

The watchtowers are very widespread in China,but there exists a distinction between the origin and development.The watchtowers in the West Sichuan was the place of origin in the Southwest.The war spreaded the watchtowers from the military extended to the civilian.The watchtowers enhanced defensive of traditional dwellings in Sichuan and Guizhou.And the Kaiping Watchtowers developed from high-rising and strengthen defense of the traditional dwellings.The former implementation way was horizontal extension,while the latter was the vertical stack.The diversity of watchtowers was a result of their traditional architectural culture and techniques regional response to the defense.
