Abstract:5G communication technology is favored by all walks of life due to its advantages of high bandwidth,low latency,and low power consumption.The power Internet of Things is a product of power systems and information communication,which aims to integrate communication infrastructure resources and power system infrastructure resources to improve the informatization level of the power system.Based on this,firstly,the concept and characteristics of the power Internet of Things are discussed.Second,combined with the characteristics of the power grid,the multi-service scenarios and communication requirements of the power Internet of Things are studied.Finally,the 5G network structure,main communication technologies and 5G in the power Internet of Things The application in the study was conducted.
