| Abstract: | The failure of 608 CB in one 220kV substation was analyzed.The CB was disassembled for inspection and the lightning model was simulated by the ATP.It was found that the cause of the failure was the insulation breakdown by lightning.The appropriate countermeasures were put forward. |
