On New Technique for Preventing and Handling the Instability of Wall of Oil-Gas Wells

Borehole's instability is always one of the main restricting factors for the rapid drilling.This paper,based on the analysis of the hazard of the borehole's instability and the factor affecting borehole stability,discusses in detail the mechanism to prevent and treat bolehole instability by using bulged tube technique,prediction and monitoring technique while drilling,reaming technique,gas drilling technique,casing drilling technique,managed pressure drilling and counterflush drilling technique and its field application,helping further understanding of the techniques.
