Abstract:The control mode of adopting PWM to alter DC voltage is of the merits, such as high efficiency and voltage can be adjusted continuously, etc. and it has been widely used in high-power DC motor speed control In this paper, the existing problems with the drive mode of DC motor speed regulation is analyzed, and using the microprocessor to implement the timely detection and automatic switchover for the driving modules to ensure the operational continuity and secure stability of the driving system, and enhancing the abilities of operating fault tolerance and intelligent control by reasonably revising the abnormal operations from the operating personnel and the wrong instructions generated due to the malfunctions, meanwhile, implementing the management of energy conservation operation for start and speed regulation of DC motor as per the effective load curve of the motor. So as to achieve the purposes of high efficiency, safety, save energy and protecting environment under the condition of the original mechanical characteristics of the motor are unchanged.
