| Abstract: | The study of UHV grid development is introduced in this paper. Several newly research and development aspects are investigated, which include the distribution of energy resources and demand in China, the strategy for development of electric power industry, the advantages of UHV transmission technology, the progress of UHV project, as well as the preliminary planning scheme and security evaluation for UHV grid. Finally, the future developing strategy of electric power grid is presented. |
