球墨铸铁汽车后桥壳体的铸造工艺优化

摘    要:球墨铸铁汽车后桥壳铸件在生产过程中容易产生皱皮缺陷,为查明原因,采用View Cast软件对其铸造工艺进行分析,并对充型及凝固过程进行了模拟.结果表明,由于合金充型过程不平稳造成金属液氧化严重,进而引起皱皮缺陷.根据模拟结果进行了浇注系统的改进,消除了皱皮缺陷.

Abstract:Elephant skin defect is easy occur on ductile iron rear axle housing castings. In order to find out the reason causing the defect, the View Cast software was utilized to analyze the casting method and simulate the mold filling and casting solidification processes. The results showed that the non-smooth filling process caused the molten iron to be oxidized and further caused the elephant skin defect. Based on the simulation result, the gating system was improved and, as a result, the defect was eliminated.
