The polypropylene (PP) specialties developed by Panjin Ethylene Company Limited in recent years were introduced. The PP specialty F400A for membrane of electrical capacitor was described in detail in terms of the information on the reduction of product ash, the control of molecular weight distribution and the increase of filming rate. The problem caused by blockage in the discharge tube was resolved under the condition of high melt flow index and high ethylene content in the production of PP specialty J741 for coating; the melt flow index and the ethylene content was controlled in a steady state throughout the production process. The high impact copolymer specialty P340A for tubing made the finished product raise its toughness and improve its long - term aging resistance . The stable production of the specialty P240 for tubing with large diameter was realized under the condition of low melt flow index.
