| 摘 要： | 介绍了何为视频点播系统(VOD)、教育视频点播系统(EVOD)，分析了视频点播系统在教育领域内应用的现状及发展前景；论述了JSP、SMIL、XML的优势，如何利用其构建教育视频点播系统。并以国内外4个典型的视频点播系统为例，具体介绍了现有教育视频点播系统的发展状况及存在问题。提出了一种旨在解决这些问题的教育视频点播解决方案，并应用该思想开发出了EVOD系统原型。

| Abstract: | This paper introduces the concepts of Video-On-Demand (VOD) and Educational Video-On-Demand (EVOD), analyzes current status and future development of VOD in education area,addresses the advantages of JSP, SMIL, XML and how to construct VOD based on them. Taking four typical domestic or abroad VOD systems for examples, it introduces the progresses and drawbacks of existent VOD systems. At last, in order to solve these problems it puts forward a VOD project, and applies this idea to develop EVOD system prototype. |
