工作记忆广度与外语听力理解间的结构方程模型表明：工作记忆广度随着材料容量的增加而适度增长，并呈现凸性；非母语者的外语听力理解更趋于把握结构和整体含义，工作记忆资源更多的分配于此目标；母语工作记忆广度与外语听力理解效果间无直接影响；外语工作记忆广度对外语听力理解效果具有较为显著的影响，但非唯一因素；母语工作记忆广度对外语工作记忆广度有较强单向影响，说明母语工作记忆实质上对外语听力效果具有一定的间接影响。

An Empirical Study of the Impact of Working Memory Span on Foreign Language Listening Comprehension

Based on the structural equation model, the paper aims at carrying out the empirical study on the impact of the working memory span on the foreign language listening comprehension.The research reveals that there is the convexity of the increase of working memory span as well as the increase in the working material capacities.Non-native speakers tend to grasp the structure and the overall meaning and their native language working memories span has no direct impact on the foreign language listening comprehension.Foreign language working memory span has a significant effect but is not the only factor, and the native language working memory actually has indirect influence on the listening comprehension to a certain extent.
