| Abstract: | Capacitor optimal placement and switching plays an important role in distribution network optimization. The state of technology in optimal capacitor placement and switching in distribution network is reviewed, and the existing approaches to solve capacitor switching problem are expounded. The features and main problems of the corresponding algorithms are analysed for further research and development in this field. |
