On Making Video BIOS Support Chinese |

| Abstract: | In this paper we evaluate both software and hardware approaches to making video BIOS
support Chinese,and expounds the problems related to video adapter.The physical features are abstra-
cted from the video adapter so that what we discuss about Chinesization is oriented to all video ada-
pters instead of a specific one.Finally,we give our opinions about how to take advantages of new-
coming video adapter with more colors and higher resolutions. |
