Application of Modern Instrumental Analyses in Glass Fiber Industry

Modern instrumental analyses have advantages of high sensitivity,good selectivity,low detection limit and good accuracy,which provide important means for the qualitative,quantitative and morphological analyses of glass fi-ber raw materials and products. The types,characteristics and functions of commonly-used modern instrumental ana-lyses,as well as the analyses of glass compositions,element valence forms and trace elements in complex samples, are discussed in this paper. Finally,the prospects of hyphenating technology and automation of modern instrumental analyses are predicted.
