| Abstract: | This paper presents the modeling of air targets of proximity fuzes using experimental data. The target model consists of many scattering points. The determination of their numbers, positions relative to the gravity center of the targets and cross sections are directly based on the analysis of a great number of scattering data obtained from experiments. The combined model has been established adopting the methods of non-linears ystem identification and interpolation. When the intersection conditions of the fuze and the target are given, the scattering signal can be obtained using the combined model. Statistical tests show that the fitting precision of the model is satisfactory and that it can well be used in fuze design and system simulation. |
