Abstract:In accordance the special properties of biomass fuel, cold modeling experimental research on the aerodynamic field in distillers' grains-fired boilers was carried out, based on laws of similarity. According to experimental results, laws that govern the variation of aerodynamic fields in furnace under different primary air velocity condit ions were found, which may be useful for design and operation optimization of biomass-fired boilers. In addition, the flow rate of primary air and the secondary air should be reasonably opportioned in design and operation to meet the particular requirments of biomass combustion.
