| Abstract: | The natural distribution, resource situation, economical and ecological values, biological and ecological characteristics, study progress and development of the bio-energy tree species Styrax tonkinensis were summarized in this paper. The techniques of seed collecting, seedling nursing and afforesting were also developed. Meanwhile, its seed oil content and composition were tested. |
