新型光纤智能监控系统设计

摘    要:本文提出了一种适用于新型光纤智能结构的健康监控系统。该系统包含硬件和软件两部分。系统的硬件部分由光源组、光电探头、监控主机及PC机组成,配合编制的软件工作。系统的软件分为监控主机软件和监控计算机软件,监控主机的程序一方面完成光电信号采集、模/数变换和显示控制;另一方面,还负责与PC机通信,创建光纤智能结构健康日志。利用该监控系统对内嵌光纤传感网络的复合材料结构试件进行加载和损伤位置判定实验。实验结果表明,利用该系统能快速准确地对光纤智能结构的承载、损伤、破坏等状态进行监控。与传统的结构检测系统相比,该系统具有判断准确、实时、光路切换稳定以及远程控制等特点。

Abstract:Composite materials and structure with fiber optics network buried can feel various loads thus it is regarded to be smart and is applied widely. This paper presents details of a novel photoelectric system for smart structure health monitoring, and the results of a series of the light intensity-based tests due to loads and damages of the composite structural conducted to assess its potential for structural health monitoring. Initially, the paper reveals the design of the system, which includes the optical part and the circuit part. At the same time, the system is composed of two parts: the hardware unit and the software one. The hardware of this system consists of light resource group, photoelectric sensor, monitoring host and the personal computer. And they work together under the instructions given by self-designed software. Then, in order to assess the monitoring condition, the loads experiments are carried out at different locations of the specimen. Finally, the degree of the loads and damages is measured. The encouraging results offer the possibilities of employing the proposed device as a monitoring system for loads and damage detection in the smart optical fiber composite structure.
