Research progress of SiC particle reinforced aluminum matrix composites

The advantages of SiC particle reinforced aluminum matrix composites and its preparation methods were briefly introduced,including mixing method,infiltration method,spraying method,powder metallurgy method and solid-liquid separation method.The influence of hot deformation parameters on the properties of the composites was discussed.Finally,the developing prospects of aluminum matrix composites prepared by powder metallurgy method were discussed.
