低水平放射性测量中的探测限及其计算

摘    要:从测量波动湖面高度变化的问题引入探测限的概念,结合直观的图示方法对判断限、探测限和定量下限的计算公式进行推导,并讨论在总α、总β、放射性核素活度等的测量方法中本底计数的具体含义,目的是帮助从事低水平放射性测量的人员正确理解探测限的来由和定义,熟悉计算公式的推导,掌握其在实际测量中的应用。

Abstract:This paper is to introduce the concept of Detection Limit through the discussion of the measurement of the fluctuating lake surface level and deduce its calculation formula. The real meaning of the background count in the calculation formula is also explained in the different measuring methods. The purpose is to help the workers involved in low level radioactivity measurement to have a comprehensive understanding of the concept, and to master the deduction of its calculation formula and know how to use it in their practical work.
