Abstract:Ferromagnetic voltage transformer is a kind of core inductor with non-linear characteristics. The reactance value will change under different excitation conditions (short circuit earth fault, switching operation, etc. ), The reactance is easily to have a resonance with the capacitive elements in the system. Resonant with the core of the inductor and capacitor components generally referred to as ferroresonance. Overvoltage or overcurrent of ferroresonance with the steady-state nature of the ferromagnetic resonance often occurs in power system The overcurrent or overvoltage of ferroresonance does great harm to the insulation of electrical equipment, bums the voltage transformers, impacts protection devices, threatens power system operation. This paper, using electromagnetic simulation software in the neutral power system, studies the preventive effect of the ferromagnetic resonance measures, and analyzes the advanta-ges and disadvantages of various measures and the scope of application.
