Abstract: | A catalytic membrane reactor was established with catalytic hollow fibers prepared by supporting polymer anchored palladium catalysts on the inside wall of cellulose acetate hollow fibers. The selective hydrogenation of cyclopentadiene was carried out in the catalytic membrane reactor at 40°C in two ways: (1) by hydrogen permeating into the hollow fibers, and (2) by hydrogen premixed in the gas phase. |
