| Abstract: | In this paper, by using the Lagrangian coordinates, we derive the KdV equation and study the head-on collision between solitary waves without the assumption of irrotational motion condition. It is found that the results obtained in Lagrangian coordinates are consistent with those obtained in Euler coordinates. |
