基于信息量的海上红外目标增强

摘    要:提出了一种针对海上红外图像目标增强的较实用算法。首先通过对红外图像特性的分析,以及对于信息论中有关信息量概念的分析,从而论证了利用信息量的概念将普通的红外图像转换为相应的信息量分布图像的可能性,并因此能够摆脱灰度信息的干扰,并且得到具有更高目标背景对比度的图像。文中详细分析了所提出方法的原理及过程,并给出了与其它一些常用红外图像处理方法的对比分析以及结果。最后,就该方法适用范围给予了说明,并对于改进的方法进行了一些探讨。

Abstract:A practical algorithm for enhancement of infrared targets on the sea is presented. Firstly, the paper gives a discussion on the characters of infrared images and a brief introduction of the capacity of information in Information theory. It results in the conclusion with the possibility of converting an infrared image to an image of information. Showing that, processing can get rid of the interference of the noise of infrared images. the difference between targets and the background becomes greater. Secondly, the details of the theory and the process and a comparison with the common ways of processing infrared images are given. Finally, the paper discusses possible applications and luther improvement of the methods.
